We’ve been hacked

If you tried to read Attempts at Honesty over the last few days and all you got was a blank window in your browser, it was due to this blog having been hacked. I don’t know enough about the inner workings of the blog to describe exactly what the hackers did, but I do know that the site was not working properly.

After I tried everything I could think of to try to fix the situation, I sent a somewhat frantic email off to Nate at Davis Services Group (DSG). DSG is my web host and sponsor. Nate found the problem and quickly corrected it and we were back up within an hour.

I don’t know how long the problem occurred, but it was not for more than a day.

If you visited the site and got the blank page, thanks for your patience and for visiting Attempts at Honesty.
