If people feel welcome in your church, it is more likely that they will return and grow in discipleship. Do they feel welcome and will they come back?

Rest in God’s Goodness

If I cast the burden on God he promises to sustain me. The bottom line is that either this promise is true or it is not. I can choose to believe it or I can chose to disbelieve.

When your church becomes cultish

If the leader or leadership of your church speaks ill of people after they leave, then that church is becoming cultish no matter how orthodox the teaching and worship might be.

On rationalization of sin

Perhaps the story of Achan in the book of Joshua makes us uncomfortable because we share in this sin. It is only by grace that we do not end up under a heap of stones.
