When treated like a servant . . .

The bottom line is that I don’t need to be validated by others when I am a servant of Jesus Christ, because Jesus gives me the ultimate status as a child of God.

Forgetting what lies behind

So while we may not totally forget the failures of the past, we can live knowing that we are not stuck and those failures don’t define us.

The Primary Purpose of Man

But the good news is that Jesus came to restore the relationship. And with the restoration of the relationship comes renewed purpose in life. For those who are in Christ, their primary purpose (even though we often forget it) is to bring glory to God, which was man’s purpose in the first place.
