About Jason Evans

Jason Evans is a non-denominational preacher and teacher of the word of God. He runs On The Line Ministries which is an online church. He believes in a balanced view of scripture, with one scripture being interpreted by other scriptures. Because of this, he is not afraid to challenge his doctrine.

If the scriptures teach something other than his beliefs, Jason will adapt his beliefs to follow those scriptures. With the standard of the scriptures he is also not afraid to challenge the teachings of others, but tries to do so in love and through opening scripture.

Finger Pointing

Can we stop pointing fingers?

God wants our hearts to reflect his heart. What would our world look like if they did? We would probably do less finger pointing and more work to bring healing and reconciliation.

Mind the Gap

Mind the Gap

I am appalled and a good bit chagrined at the gap between what I believe and how I act. For example, I readily acknowledge the theological truth that there is nothing good in me that caused God to choose me as one to be saved. I fully believe in the Reformation idea that salvation is […]
